At Castle Bow Restaurant in Taunton, we want you to enjoy a wonderful evening meal. There are no dress codes – just great food, served in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere.
Head Chef, Liam Finnegan is passionate about using fresh, local ingredients. So much so, that he grows some of his own herbs in our Norman garden. We bake our own breads in The Castle’s kitchen and make our own chutneys and jams.
Our local suppliers are handpicked by Liam for their commitment to producing the very best regional ingredients. When possible, we prefer to use organic fruits and vegetables as well as line-caught fish.
Liam’s modern British classics are constantly evolving and his menu is created to fully embrace each season.
It is this quality and care that transforms every meal into a true West Country experience.
Our front of house team is led by Giancarlo Marino, who is also Castle Bow’s sommelier. Giancarlo takes great care to ensure that our guests always receive a warm welcome and he personally selects each wine to complement our menu.
You will find that our wine list is filled with many wonderful and exotic varieties to try. If you are unsure which to choose, just ask us and we can assist with your selection.
We hope that you will not only discover the best flavours that Somerset has to offer, but also enjoy an experience that you can’t wait to share.
